Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about YardCutting.com? We’ve got answers—straight from Jamaica’s gardening pros.

Your Questions, Answered

With 25 years serving Jamaica, we’ve tackled every question under the sun. Here’s what clients from Montego Bay to Kingston ask us most about quotes, coverage, cleanup, payment, and more.

How do you provide quotes?

For residential jobs, quotes are free online—we prefer a complete video of your yard via WhatsApp to keep costs down. Visiting in person comes with a small fee due to travel. For commercial or land clearing work, we offer quotes with a small visit charge which is deducted from the total job cost, just send us the details and we’ll come check it out. Written quotes are available on request.

Do you cover everywhere in Jamaica?

Yes! From Montego Bay to Kingston, Negril to Ocho Rios, we serve every parish. Our team’s island-wide, ready for residential lawns, commercial lots, or rural land clearing—no spot’s too remote.

Do you do on-site quotes?

For residential, we charge a small fee for site visits—videos keep it free and easy. Commercial jobs and land clearing, we’ll visit to assess the job properly and a small travel fee will be deducted from cost of the job.

How do you handle cleanup after a job?

We usually bag up rubbish—like grass clippings, branches, or brush—and place it where garbage collectors pick up. For full clearing with a truck (e.g., hauling away debris from tree cutting, brush clearing, or land clearing), that’s an extra service with an added cost on top of the base job—just let us know what you need!

How long does a job take?

It depends on the job size and type—residential cuts, commercial projects, or land clearing all vary. Weather can play a role too. We’ll give you an estimate with your quote based on the details you provide.

What equipment do you use?

We bring professional-grade tools—mowers, weed whackers, chainsaws—all with sharp blades for clean cuts. No shortcuts, just top-quality gear for Jamaica’s tough yards.

How do I pay for your services?

We accept cash, bank transfer, Western Union, or MoneyGram. For regular cuts, payment’s due on the day of the job. Large commercial work and land clearing require a 50% deposit upfront, balance after completion. We provide written invoices for contracts to your email or WhatsApp—whichever’s more convenient.
